What are Favorites and Admirers? How do you add and remove them?

When you find an item, shop, or treasury on Maker6 that you like, save it for later by adding it to your favorites. Note: You must first be signed into your Maker6 account.

Admirers are Maker6 members who have already favorited an item, shop, or treasury.

How to add an item, shop, or treasury to your favorites

1. Visit an item listing page, and on the right, click Add item to favorites.

2. If you're viewing search results or a shop, mouse over the item picture and click the heart icon that appears in the top-left corner of the image. Click it once. (Clicking it twice will add it and remove it again.)

3. You can add a shop to your favorites on any of their listing pages or by visiting the shop's main page and clicking Add to favorites on the left under Actions.

4. To favorite a treasury, view the treasury and click the Favorite button near the top right of the page.

Adding something to your favorites will create a story in the activity feeds of other members who follow you. If you don't want your favorites to be public, change your settings under Your Account >Settings > Privacy.

To view your favorites, click the heart icon at the top of the site.

Remove favorites

To remove an item from your favorites, click the heart icon at the top of the site and select the Items tab. Place your mouse over the item you'd like to remove. Click the x that appears in the top-right corner.

To remove a shop or treasury from your favorites, click the heart icon at the top of the site and select the Shops or Treasury Lists tab. Place your mouse over the box containing the member's name. Click the x that appears in the top-right corner of the box.

Browse other members' favorites

To browse another member's favorites, click Favorites on their Public Profile.

To see who favorited a shop, click the number of admirers on the main shop page. There's also an admirers link on every listing and treasury page.
